A little dessert corner in Stratford
Cakes & Craves sits on Warton Road, just off Stratford High Street and a short walk from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Inside it’s warm and easy — rattan lights, a hanging chair and a counter of milk cakes lit up along the wall.
It’s an evening kind of place: somewhere to drop in for a sweet fix after dinner, grab a shake, or take a box of milk cake home. Everything’s halal, and the flavours change often — so there’s always a reason to come back.

What actually is a milk cake?
It’s a soft sponge soaked in sweet milk until it’s moist and light, then topped with fresh cream and finished by flavour — pistachio, Lotus Biscoff, Oreo, Ferrero, chocolate and more. Each one is made up to order, and a lot of people say it’s the best thing on the menu.
Is everything halal?
Yes — Cakes & Craves is halal, and there’s no alcohol on the menu (the mojitos and mocktails are all alcohol-free). If you have a specific requirement, message us before you order and we’ll help.
What are your opening hours?
We’re an evening spot: Monday and Tuesday 5:30pm–11:00pm, Wednesday and Thursday 5:30pm–1:00am, and Friday to Sunday 5:00pm–1:00am. The banner at the top of the page shows live whether we’re open right now.
How do I order?
The quickest way is to message us on WhatsApp or call the shop — tell us the flavour and whether you want to eat in, collect or have it delivered. You’re very welcome to just walk in, too.
Do you do allergies and dietary needs?
Our desserts are made in a kitchen that handles milk, egg, wheat, soya, peanuts and tree nuts, so please tell us about any allergy before ordering and we’ll let you know what’s safe. We’d always rather you asked.
